After attempting two times by phone and one by email, Mike finally responded via email with, "What do you need?" Quickly we called him and found there was absolutely no talking with Mike. He did not let us talk. He interrupted every time we spoke. Eventually our communication escalated and boiled over into Mike hanging up on us and completing the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with any PROPRIETOR - ANYWHERE!!!

(Not sure what the $50 cleaning fee we paid was for????)

First, if you are going to say a cabin accommodates five people, then charge them for five people not charge for only four people and then charge an extra $20 for the fifth person. Second, make sure you have a copy of the rental agreement and post it. Make sure you follow it b/c you will be charge for anything not done. Such as putting trash in the barrel and putting towels in the tub. You will be charged. Not to mention scorpions in the cabins and waking up each morning to bug bites from the beds. Also, the owner was on his next property over within 100 yards cutting down trees with a chain saw at 7:30 in the morning. Not quite the quiet, relaxing vacation we had planned.

Our past experiences with VRBO has been excellent. We expected to have the same. To our disbelief the proprietors of Drover's Den gave us a rude awakening!
